1968

Foundation of the Peter Rinder company – predecessor of today ’s Rinder Warenhandels- gesmbH.Back then, the company already focused on trade with automobile accessories and spare parts. A retail shop was also operated.

1988

A storehouse and office building was erected on some 30,000 m2 of company land, which remain company headquarters to this day. This was the only possibility to store and logistically manage some 1,500 different products in one place while assuring coordination between office - development - technology - service and storehouse.

1993

Peter Rinder fell ill with a severe disease that prevented him from actively codetermining the company ’s further course. Therefore, Heinz Rinder took on all his responsibilities.

1998

On account of Peter Rinder ’s illness, Heinz Rinder acquired all the company shares. The company assumed all rights and duties as RINDER Warenhandelsgesellschaft m.b.H. and continued business successfully. RINDER Warenhandels- gesellschaft BRD was founded to develop the German market.

1999

Continued development of product range and sales opportunities. To support proactive sales, the company decided to revamp its corporate image.
